Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Senior Global Category Manager for Indirect Procurement to shape and execute global category strategy, lead RFx events, negotiate contracts, and drive savings while managing risk and supplier relationships.

This remote role reports to the Senior Director, Indirect Procurement and partners across PCI to deliver value. Occasional travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Procurement or category management, preferably in multi-national company and across multiple categories of spend.
• Track record in successfully managing all aspects of an indirect supply chain category.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute assigned category strategies by evaluating stakeholder requirements, industry trends and supplier behavior.
• Conduct supplier/category spend analysis and market research to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships to secure collaborative partnerships and drive cost savings and innovation.
• Lead end-to-end category management and sourcing from strategy to contract execution.
• Integrate ESG and sustainability initiatives into sourcing and category strategy decisions.
• Mentor and develop team members to build analytics and best-practice capabilities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Project Management and Finance to align strategies with business objectives.
