Job summary

Amazon's Global Logistics team seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager to own long-term capacity planning for the Global Cross-Dock (GXD) network. You will manage capacity strategy end-to-end across imports, coordinating with ocean, dray, and destination processing to support growth.

The role requires leading long-range planning cycles (OP1/OP2/QxG), developing forecasts, and guiding governance through monthly/quarterly reviews, with visibility across multiple functions and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and delivering results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• 2+ years in supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management.
• 3+ years owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term capacity planning for the GXD network across origin throughput, storage, and outbound capacity.
• Lead inputs into OP1/OP2 and QxG planning cycles with forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Build demand-to-capacity models translating forecasts into node-level requirements.
• Partner with Direct Import, GPE, and FBA teams on new launches and expansions.
• Lead capacity governance through Monthly and Quarterly Reviews.
• Identify capacity risks and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Ocean Procurement, Dray, Destination Ops, Finance, and SCOT to align plans.
• Drive continuous improvement: forecast accuracy, automation, and scalable reporting.
