Job summary

MRL Consulting Group | Global Niche Technology Recruitment seeks a Senior Engineer for Instrumentation & Controls to own the engineering lifecycle of critical facility systems—Life Safety, Toxic Gas Monitoring, SCADA, I&C, IoT and Security—across a global semiconductor manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in Facility I&C/ELV design and engineering for semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech industries.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally 15–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, construction, and operations of semiconductor infrastructure including Life Safety, TGM, SCADA, I&C, IoT, Telecom, and Security across a global facility network.
• Manage large-scale projects, including U.S. greenfield FAB programs, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, IT, Procurement, Construction, O&M to ensure project alignment and execution.
• Ensure facility systems are reliable, efficient, scalable, and aligned with global standards and strategic objectives.
• Implement standard methodologies and guidelines across global sites for construction, development, and operations.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight from concept through commissioning and operations.
• Benchmark Best Known Methods across internal and external sites to drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate sustainability principles into facility design and operations in support of environmental goals.
