Job summary
Micron Technology seeks an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to lead third-party design coordination for PLC, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation in advanced semiconductor facilities. You will review architectures, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive reliable, secure control systems for safe operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years in instrumentation and controls engineering.
- Experience coordinating third-party designs or managing design processes.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and instrumentation in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ISA/IEC/NFPA 70/ISA 5.1/ISA 88 and functional safety.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or related tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and validate third-party designs for PLC, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation.
- Review control system architectures and specifications for compliance.
- Evaluate system performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and integration.
- Perform design quality reviews and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with design partners to support integration, commissioning, and startup.
