As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve.

SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 7+ years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, storage, network, security, database administration and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.
• 5+ years design and implementation experience with Graph Databases such as Neo4J, TigerGraph, including Graph data modeling and Query languages.
• An understanding of computing deployment models as they relate to databases and analytics.
• Working knowledge of modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures.
• Foster technical trusted advisor relationships with influential decision makers to further the adoption of AWS services.
