Job summary

Amazon Ads' Global Strategic Events (STEEP) team is seeking a Senior Event Operations Lead to drive production oversight and business affairs across our growing portfolio of marquee live, virtual, and hybrid events.

This role is central to ensuring events are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality bar, with ownership spanning vendor management, production oversight, budget and financial operations, strategic planning, and logistics coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with end-to-end procurement processes including RFPs, vendor onboarding, and contract execution.
• Experience developing and managing large-scale event budgets.
• Willingness to travel for onsite event support across domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vendor and agency relationship management: SOW development, performance oversight, and contract negotiations.
• Manage the full procurement journey — onboard suppliers, execute contracts, process spend approvals, open POs, and approve invoices.
• Drive compliance and legal coordination across international markets.
• Serve as the primary business affairs liaison between internal event leads and external production partners.
• Contribute to annual planning: calendar, budget, and goals mapped to business priorities.
• Synthesize registration, attendance, and ROI insights into strategic recommendations.
• Develop and manage event budgets within large-scale programs and track expenses.
