Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Principal Stock Plan Consultant to own the design, administration, governance, and optimization of our global equity compensation programs. You will partner with executive leadership, HR, Legal, Tax, Finance, and external vendors to ensure plans are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

This hybrid role reports to the Director of Long-Term Incentives & Retention within Total Rewards and will drive complex initiatives in stock plan design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field; CEP preferred.
• Eight to twelve years’ experience in equity compensation or related field.
• Deep expertise in global equity programs, including tax and regulatory considerations.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 718 and equity reporting.
• Experience with equity administration systems (E*TRADE, Fidelity, Shareworks, Equity Edge).
• Exposure to executive compensation design and Compensation Committee support.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and advise on solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead equity compensation strategy and design across global programs (RSUs, stock options, ESPP).
• Align equity programs with talent, retention, and shareholder goals with Total Rewards leadership.
• Manage global equity rollout, compliance, and scalability.
• Benchmark programs against market practices and drive value through data-driven changes.
• Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, securities, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee governance, documentation, and internal controls for plans.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and executives on disclosures, filings, and audits.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Accounting, and Tax to execute programs.
