Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Principal Stock Plan Consultant to join its Global Compensation team in a hybrid role located in Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA. You will design, administer, govern and optimize global equity programs and partner with executives to align with business goals.

The role requires 8–12 years in equity compensation, deep tax and regulatory knowledge, and experience with major equity systems. Collaboration across Legal, Finance, HR and external vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Eight to twelve years’ professional level experience in equity compensation or executive compensation.
• Deep expertise in global equity programs, including tax and regulatory considerations.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 718 and equity reporting.
• Experience with equity administration systems (E*TRADE, Fidelity, Shareworks, Equity Edge).
• Exposure to executive compensation design and Compensation Committee support.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel (pivot, vlookup, charts).
• Ability to analyze complex data and present sound recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead equity compensation strategy, including design and evolution of programs (RSUs, stock options, ESPP).
• Partner with Total Rewards and LTI leadership to align equity with talent and shareholder goals.
• Manage global equity program rollout and expansion with compliance and scalability.
• Benchmark programs against market practices and drive data‑driven improvements.
• Oversee governance, documentation, processes, and internal controls for plans.
• Collaborate on proxy disclosures, filings, and audits with Legal and Finance.
• Support cross‑functional execution with HR, Payroll, Accounting, and Tax.
• Support M&A and global expansion impacting equity programs.
• Analyze equity metrics and report to leadership; inform forecasting and planning.
• Develop clear communications and educate stakeholders on programs.
