Job summary

Apptronik seeks a Global Supply Manager — Electrical & Electronics to own sourcing strategy for PCB, PCBA/EMS, harnessing, compute modules, and board-level electronics. You’ll shape supplier architecture, run RFQs, negotiate terms, and drive design-to-cost with engineering to scale production.

You will collaborate across hardware engineering, manufacturing, quality and program management to ensure on-time, cost-effective supply for prototypes through mass production.

Qualifications

• Direct ownership of electronics commodities in a strategic sourcing role.
• Deep hands-on experience in PCB fabrication, PCBA/EMS, or harness and compute hardware.
• Proven should-cost modeling capability with quantified negotiation results on electronics categories.
• Experience developing commodity cost roadmaps and driving cost-reduction initiatives with engineering.
• Experience qualifying suppliers internationally and managing regional footprint and concentration risk.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, fabrication and harness drawings, and test specs.
• Experience owning commercial agreements end to end.
• Strong spreadsheet and modeling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Own commodity strategy for PCB fabrication, PCBA/EMS, wire harness and cable assembly, compute modules, sensors and perception hardware.
• Define the supply-base architecture for each commodity and triggers for moving work between partners.
• Create and run RFQs and RFPs, lead supplier selection and contract awards.
• Develop should-cost models addressing main cost drivers and labor content.
• Negotiate pricing, NRE, tooling, MOQs, NCNRs, capacity and commercial terms; own MSAs and LTAs.
• Own commodity cost targets and multi-year cost-reduction roadmaps with engineering.
• Maintain costed-BOM visibility and identify gaps vs program BOM cost targets.
• Drive dual/multi-source coverage and build redundancy for critical content.
• Develop AVL/AML strategy with qualification criteria and geographic footprint requirements.
• Own supplier risk strategy including lead-time, EOL, and last-time buys, and COO considerations.
• Develop sourcing strategies aligning with COO, tariff, localization, and domestic-content rules.
• Ensure suppliers support prototype, pilot builds, and ramp to production on schedule.
• Engage engineering during NPI to influence component selection and DFM/DFT.
