Job summary

MGC Diagnostics is seeking a senior EHS leader to align training, environmental health and safety programs with corporate goals across multiple sites. This role oversees compliance, develops best practices, and mentors teams to sustain high safety and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EH&S within manufacturing, OSHA 30, CPR/AED/First Aid, and strong leadership, communication, and analytics skills to drive continuous improvement and regulatory readiness globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years EH&S experience in textile/manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
• Ability to use analytical tools to identify and drive improvements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Solid leadership skills; able to lead by example; decisive.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor Training and EHS teams.
• Work cross-functionally across departments and sites globally.
• Develop and sustain EHS objectives and procedures aligned with regulations.
• Lead KPI reporting to Executive leadership on prescribed frequency.
• Maintain environmental permits and submit reports to agencies.
• Conduct audits and update environmental programs (SPCC, storm water, etc.).
• Establish and obtain ISO 14001:2015 EMS certification at two plants.
• Lead sustainability projects to reduce energy, emissions, waste, and increase recycling.
• Promote safe, efficient, and consistent work practices and conditions.
• Develop and maintain training programs and EHS training KPIs.
• Conduct risk assessments for control of hazards and compliance.
• Establish incident prevention systems and regulatory compliance processes.
• Communicate with Corporate EHS on larger issues.
