Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Strategic Commodity Manager to lead commodity strategy across Electromechanical Assembly and related supply bases. You will forecast trends, negotiate agreements, and coordinate with product, manufacturing, and finance to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

You will work in a globally integrated operations environment, leveraging AI tools and data analytics to drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a Master’s; or PhD with 5 years.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or production/planning. Semiconductor experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with track record of resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, align, and implement commodity strategy.
• Forecast industry trends and gauge competitive forces in the commodity landscape.
• Negotiates supplier agreements, cost reductions, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and finance.
• Define metrics aligned with annual operating plan and drive improvements.
