Acuity is seeking a Transactional and Commercial Counsel to provide legal support across commercial transactions, including complex contracting and sales‑related activities. You will collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and compliance to align contractual commitments with business goals.

The role requires a JD with 6–8 years of relevant experience, strong drafting skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• JD with 6–8 years of relevant legal experience in contracting, commercial, and sales support.
• Experience in manufacturing or product‑related industry preferred.
• Strong drafting skills and business‑minded judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communicator collaborating with cross‑functional partners.
• Hybrid schedule with onsite presence 3 days/week.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including nondisclosure agreements, global sales‑related contracts and other channel agreements.
• Advise business teams on contract strategy, negotiation positions, and risk allocation.
• Draft and support standard and non standard product warranties; review marketing materials for compliance.
• Review marketing and product documentation for regulatory compliance, including websites and collateral.
• Support government contract needs as necessary and advise on regulatory issues.
• Review press releases and external product and sales communications for legal issues.
• Draft and review terms and conditions for incentive programs and promotions.
