Job summary

OneTrust is hiring a corporate counsel to provide transactional support on commercial contracts. You will join the Commercial & Product Support team to negotiate high-volume SaaS contracts through the lifecycle to execution and respond to ad-hoc legal requests from sales.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a U.S. law school, active State Bar status, and 5+ years of commercial contracts experience, with strong communication and negotiation skills in a fast-paced, office-first environment.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
Member of a State Bar in good standing.
5+ years of commercial contracts experience.
Excellent communicator and negotiator.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Negotiate high volume SaaS contracts through the contract lifecycle to execution.
Handle ad-hoc legal requests for support from the sales function.
Understand key IP, commercial, and finance requirements.
Keep up-to-date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance.
Drive compliance in day-to-day sales activities, including providing training.
Support updates to legal team templates & precedents.
Assist with wider company projects assigned to the Commercial & Product Support team.
