Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Project Leader to oversee large, global cardiovascular and metabolic trials from startup through closeout. This role serves as the primary operational contact, ensuring trials stay on schedule, within scope, and compliant with GCP and FDA regulations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage site activation, regulatory submissions, and ongoing trial execution across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Extensive clinical project leadership experience across Phase II–IV trials.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating sponsors, sites, investigators and vendors.
• Background in cardiovascular/metabolic disease trials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Phase II–IV trials from startup to closeout.
• Ensure studies stay on schedule, within scope and compliant with protocols.
• Coordinate activities between sponsors, sites, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee site activation, regulatory submissions, and site readiness.
