Forum Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support manufacturing and delivery of drilling equipment. You will procure direct and indirect materials, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate logistics to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires strong analytical, operational and communication skills, with experience in ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Inventory or Logistics.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or similar.

Responsabilités

• Execute purchasing for raw materials, machined components, castings, forgings, MRO and services.
• Create and manage purchase orders per procurement policies and contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance: cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics to support schedules.
• Analyze inventory and demand to maintain optimal stock and minimize excess.
• Expedite critical materials and resolve supply disruptions.
• Support supplier negotiations on pricing, lead times, terms and service levels.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with freight providers and stakeholders.
• Identify continuous improvement to reduce total supply chain costs and improve service levels.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and supplier data in ERP.
• Generate procurement/inventory reports and provide recommendations.
