Job summary

My Financial Partner seeks a Senior Controller, GL Shared Services to own the record-to-report process for ~100 Network Companies. This hands-on leadership role runs the close, drives SOX controls, and builds a scalable GL team across onshore and Colombia offshore operations.

You will manage acquisitions onboarding, standardize processes and partner with Tax, FP&A and CAO. You will lead a growing offshore team to 10–15 by 2027, ensure timely closes, and deliver accurate, well-controlled

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted CPA license (in good standing).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading teams.
• 4+ years leading a GL or R2R function in a shared services setting.
• SOX 404 experience or exposure; public company background preferred.
• Experience managing offshore or nearshore teams and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close across Network Companies with an 8–10 business day close.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and memos; support audit workpapers.
• Lead onshore and offshore GL team; build scalable processes and training.
• Drive SOX controls, matrix, narratives and flowcharts; ensure proper approvals.
• Oversee acquisitions onboarding and integration; refine playbooks.
• Champion automation and system changes across OneStream and ERPs.
