ScaleFlux, a leader in computational storage and data infrastructure, seeks a Senior GL Accountant to join its U.S. Accounting and Finance team in Milpitas, CA. The role involves hands-on GL work, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the U.S.

entity. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, lookups, SUMIFS).
• Experience with ERP/general ledger systems.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and maintain close calendar.
• Review general ledger activity for accuracy and classification.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances.
• Maintain schedules supporting key GL accounts and close activities.
• Prepare operating expense accruals and monthly amortization entries.
• Maintain fixed asset register incl. additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and cash accounts.
• Support external audits and related accounting requests.
• Identify opportunities to simplify recurring tasks and improve close efficiency.
