Job summary

Siemens Energy invites an experienced GIS Testing and Commissioning Supervisor to lead on-site GIS testing, commissioning, and performance verification across North America. You will supervise field teams, develop procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with customers and contractors.

Travel is extensive (up to 90%), and you will work closely with engineering and project management to address technical issues, prepare test plans and reports, and ensure safe,

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with GIS testing, commissioning, and HiPot preferred.
• Experience working on GIS construction sites and on-site testing environments.
• Experience with testing procedures and industry standards.
• Strong computer and MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GIS testing and commissioning projects at the job site.
• Develop and implement testing procedures to meet standards.
• Conduct testing and performance analysis of GIS installations.
• Instruct contractors and field personnel in testing activities.
• Interface with customers and project partners to ensure successful completion.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to address issues.
• Assist in developing test plans, reports, and compliance records.
• Ensure timely, safe, and cost-efficient execution.
• Provide ongoing support and customer service during the process.
