Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a GIS Service Supervisor to join the Grid Technology Service Substation Upgrades team in North America.

You will help supervise GIS testing and commissioning activities, coordinate with contractors, and collaborate with engineering to ensure readiness and quality. The role emphasizes learning, on-site supervision, and strong teamwork while delivering safe, cost-efficient testing services.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn GIS testing and commissioning.
• Fundamental knowledge of Siemens Energy GIS portfolio is a plus but not required.
• Prior testing/commissioning experience preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Experience on construction sites is beneficial.
• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision and coordination of GIS testing and commissioning at job sites under guidance of senior staff.
• Support development and implementation of testing procedures to meet industry standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and performance analysis of GIS and equipment for readiness.
• Manage and instruct contractors and field personnel during testing activities.
• Collaborate with customers and project partners to support successful completion of scope.
• Work with engineering and project management to address technical issues during testing.
• Contribute to project documentation such as test plans and reports.
• Ensure activities are performed safely, timely, and cost-efficiently.
• Provide support and customer service to clients and stakeholders.
