Job summary

LOGIC Solutions Group is seeking a Senior GIS Technologist to lead Esri Enterprise implementations and drive the health of our geospatial solution. The role requires deep ArcSDE expertise, strong geospatial data design, and hands-on deployment across on-prem, AWS, and Azure environments.

You will guide data management strategies, coordinate with the implementation team, and optimize GIS performance while leveraging Python and emerging AI acceleration techniques to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Esri Enterprise implementations.
• Ability to define the physical implementation of the solution.
• Strong expertise in ArcSDE and geospatial data management.
• Expert-level knowledge of GIS best practices and principles.
• Hands-on experience with Esri Enterprise installation, configuration, performance tuning, and administration.
• Experience working in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong experience with the Esri ArcGIS suite including Desktop, Pro, Server, Online, Velocity, Portal and Experience Builder.

Responsibilities

Location: Houston - 3 days onsite (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

Travel : Must be able to travel a few times per year (less than 10%)

Employment Type: W2 Full-Time or Contract for a year

The Senior GIS Technologist is responsible for the overall health of a GIS technical solution or specific components of the solution, acts as the Esri Enterprise implementation team lead, and provides the physical implementation definition. Typically an Esri ArcSDE specialist and is an expert in geospatial data: imagery, spatial data management, design and modeling. Depth in GIS best practices and principles, Esri Enterprise installation / configuration / performance tuning / administration on prem and in the Cloud. Esri ArcGIS suite including ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, Velocity, Portal for ArcGIS, Experience Builder, Python and FME Form and Flow. Skills with generative AI for Python acceleration a must.

Responsibilities:
