Job summary

VSG Business Solutions LLC in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Senior GIS Support Analyst (Contract) to provide development and technical support for ArcGIS and ArcFM-based Enterprise GIS systems. The role includes 1st–3rd line support, scripting, and ongoing administration across Portal/Server.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in GIS administration, strong scripting with Python and ArcGIS JavaScript API, and experience with ArcFM and .NET/C#.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience administering, supporting, and developing ArcGIS applications.
• Experience deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites.
• Proficient coding in Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, and .NET (C#).
• Experience with ArcFM and Enterprise GIS databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and technical support for ArcGIS and ArcFM Enterprise GIS.
• Develop minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, and ASP.NET.
• Support Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting.
• Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
• Monitor system performance and tune performance.
• Publish services and manage user roles and privileges.
• Coordinate with server support, security, and DBA teams.

Assignment

Provide development and technical support (1st, 2nd or Tier 3 Level) to the Client ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.
Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#).
Support Client Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc

Required Skills/Experience

Ability to understand requirements and support team and share best practices/lessons learnt.
Provide status of the tickets to the client SME.
Trouble shooting and problem resolution to issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.
