Job summary

Booker DiMaio seeks a Senior GIS Programmer for a 6-month contract with a government client in Towson, MD. The role centers on developing and modernizing an Agricultural Preservation Model, upgrading ArcMap Add-Ins to ArcGIS Pro Add-Ins, and working across C#, Python, ArcGIS technologies, and relational databases.

The ideal candidate has enterprise GIS experience and will collaborate across teams, with onsite work three days per week in Towson and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Recent government experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience developing and modifying applications using: C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML, J2EE.
• 3+ years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS ModelBuilder and Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Experience developing reports using SSRS and/or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle and SQL Server.
