Booker DiMaio, LLC seeks a Senior GIS Programmer for a 6-month contract to support a local government client in Towson, MD.

The role focuses on developing and modernizing an Agricultural Preservation Model, upgrading an ArcMap Add-In to an ArcGIS Pro Add-In, and working across C#, Python and ArcGIS technologies.

Qualifications

• Recent government experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience developing and modifying applications using: C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML, J2EE.
• 3+ years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS ModelBuilder and Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Experience developing reports using SSRS and/or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance GIS applications within an Enterprise GIS environment.
• Upgrade an existing ArcMap Add-In to an ArcGIS Pro Add-In.
• Work with C# and Python in the development and modernization of GIS applications.
