Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIS and Environmental Data Professional for our Pittsburgh, PA office, with hybrid work options. The role leverages GIS and data-management expertise to support routing, siting, environmental permitting, water resources, and geotechnical projects.

You will lead data workflows, produce visualizations with ArcGIS, manage environmental data in EQuIS, and collaborate with clients and regulators on complex projects across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, earth sciences or related field.
• 7+ years of GIS/database experience; experience mentoring staff.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and EQuIS; data management, visualization, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentor project staff.
• Develop workflows to automate data compilation and map delivery.
• Create data visualizations and GIS outputs for reports and maps.
• Coordinate data collection and transfer with internal/external partners.
• Manage environmental data alongside GIS for multi-disciplinary projects.
