Job summary

Ardent Technologies, Inc. seeks a Sr. GIS Programmer to develop and modify GIS applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python. The role requires extensive ESRI ArcGIS expertise, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API’s, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Model Builder.

Responsibilities include building SQL-driven reports with SSRS and Power BI, and maintaining relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration with government entities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• Minimum of three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API’s, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDK’s, and ArcSDE
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python
• Strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
• Development of reports using SSRS, Power BI
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
