Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a seasoned GIS Analyst/Developer to design, develop, and maintain ArcGIS Online dashboards and web GIS applications across defense and civilian programs.

You will work with ArcGIS API for JavaScript, OpenLayers, and Leaflet to produce maps, layers, widgets, and interactive tools. The role requires 6+ years of experience, a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a GIS Analyst or Developer.
• Experience establishing and maintaining AGOL mapping and reporting dashboards.
• Experience developing GIS applications using JavaScript-based web mapping tools.
• GIS development experience with maps, layers, widgets, and interactive tools.
• Experience importing and exporting large ArcGIS datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update ArcGIS Online dashboards, map services, web layers, and reporting tools for coverage reinvestment activities.
• Design and build web-based GIS applications and visualization tools using JavaScript GIS frameworks (ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers).
• Implement GIS functionality within web applications with responsive, accessible interfaces for program reporting and operational needs.
• Import, export, and organize large ArcGIS datasets and metadata while ensuring data integrity and standards.
• Process and analyze crowdsourced geospatial data to inform AOI analysis and investment decisions.
• Create geospatial products such as maps, layers, dashboards, and documentation meeting accuracy and traceability requirements.
• Support senior GIS staff with workflows, data preparation, and version control for nationwide coverage planning.
• Conduct routine validation and quality checks on GIS datasets.
