Job summary

The City of Dallas is seeking a Senior Geographic Information System Analyst to lead the development and maintenance of the city’s GIS across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. You will guide data design, analytics, and staff coordination to deliver accurate geospatial information for internal and external users.

You will work with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop/Server, SQL Server, and web technologies, supervise technicians, and ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field required
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS/Desktop/Server
Knowledge of Python, HTML5, SQL, and FME for GIS tasks
Proficiency in relational databases and data modeling
Experience leading technical staff and managing GIS projects

Responsibilities

Lead development and maintenance of GIS databases, networks, hardware, and software
Oversee project plans, scheduling, and quality for GIS initiatives
Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
Develop and maintain web, desktop, and mobile GIS applications
