Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking a Senior Geographic Information System Analyst to lead the development and maintenance of the GIS database, network, hardware, and software. You will guide web, desktop, and mobile applications to improve productivity and support department goals, ensuring quality delivery of GIS data.

The role requires masterful ESRI ArcGIS expertise, strong SQL, and experience with data integration, scripting, and web map applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in GIS/Geography/CS/Planning/Engineering.
• Three years of GIS management, design, and/or implementation experience including ESRI ArcGIS Desktop/Server and RDBMS (SQL Server and/or Oracle).
• Equivalencies acceptable as listed (GED/Associate with years of experience; etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level analytical support for GIS and technology projects.
• Lead GIS project development, planning, tracking, and education on project management.
• Coordinate resources and vendors to ensure successful delivery of large-scale GIS projects.
