Job summary

EOG Resources is seeking a GIS mapping and analysis professional to support the Land, Regulatory, Environmental and Operations teams. You will interpret complex land descriptions, manage GIS datasets, and produce graphics for reports and presentations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in geography/GIS or related field and 7+ years of GIS experience; ArcGIS Pro, FME/ModelBuilder, and Portal for ArcGIS skills are preferred. Ohio Utica region knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in geography, cartography, GIS or closely related field, or commensurate experience.
Minimum 7 years of professional GIS experience.
Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro; familiarity with FME/ModelBuilder.
Experience with Portal for ArcGIS and Python scripting preferred.
Knowledge of Ohio Utica region, oil and gas leases, and map projections is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide mapping and analysis support for Land, Regulatory, Environmental and Operations efforts.
Interpret difficult land and legal descriptions and integrate data while maintaining standards.
Manage GIS raster, vector and tabular datasets and perform GIS analysis.
Produce GIS graphics for reports and presentations.
Explore and develop ways to integrate GIS technology into daily workflows.
