Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a GIS Analyst II to manage, maintain, and optimize geospatial data and workflows across engineering and operations projects. This role uses desktop and web GIS to visualize, analyze, and share geospatial information internally and externally.

You will work with the GIS team, engineering, and project management to provide technical guidance, automate workflows, and improve data integrity through advanced schema design and spatial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geospatial Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6+ years of professional GIS experience, preferably in engineering, utilities, or telecommunications.
• Advanced proficiency in Field Maps environments; strong knowledge of spatial analysis, schema design, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Edit, update, and manage GIS data across related platforms.
• Develop and maintain databases and data models for consistency and standardization.
• Perform data conversions, exports, and translations.
• Generate map products, dashboards, and web applications to support engineering and project teams.
• Provide technical support and training for GIS Portal users and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
• Utilize geoprocessing tools and spatial analysis to solve complex spatial problems.
• Develop and document workflows, procedures, and system specifications for projects.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, and project teams for reliable data integration.
• Identify and implement new GIS workflows to increase efficiency and collaboration.
• Mentor GIS Technicians and Analysts on data standards, tools, and system usage.
