Job summary

BGE, Inc., a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm, is seeking a GIS Analyst to design, manage, and optimize enterprise geospatial data and workflows for public and private infrastructure projects in Texas and beyond.

You will partner with engineers, planners, and clients to translate requirements into scalable GIS solutions, automate processes with Python and ArcGIS tools, and support data governance across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and analytics environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of GIS or related technology experience.
Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or comparable enterprise GIS platforms.
Experience working with relational databases and data management concepts.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with engineers, planners, project managers, and clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS datasets, databases, and geospatial applications.
Build web, mobile, and desktop GIS solutions that improve field operations, planning, and asset management.
Identify opportunities to automate workflows using Python, SQL, ModelBuilder, ArcGIS tools, or other technologies.
