Job summary

Energy Services Group is seeking a senior GIS professional to join the Data Products Team in Denver. You will utilize Python scripts, ArcGIS, and FME to map, digitize polygons, QA delivery, and support clients and team members in achieving project goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to lead demos while expanding Whitestar data product schemas and data translations. A strong background in Esri tools and PostgreSQL/PostGIS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a GIS role or equivalent experience.
• GISP is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/GIS/Geography.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance and perform QA for Whitestar data products.
• Lead customer demos and discussions around Whitestar products and services.
• Define or expand Whitestar data product schemas and translations between sources and delivery schemas.
• Troubleshoot and improve data preparation workflows and processes.
• Create user accounts for tailored web services and data access.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and GIS Technicians on the Data Products Team.
