Job summary

ESG - USA is seeking an experienced GIS Specialist to effectively utilize Python scripts, ArcGIS, and related tools to create maps, digitize polygons, and quality control mapped data for Whitestar products. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Data Products Team to meet client needs and project goals.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication with clients and team members, and the ability to lead demos and troubleshoot workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a GIS role or equivalent.
• GISP is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/GIS/Geography.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance and quality control Whitestar core data products including ParcelSD and ParcelsHD.
• Provide customer service support for subscription-based products and data delivery.
• Lead customer demos and discussions around Whitestar products and services.
• Define or expand Whitestar data product schemas and translations between sources.
• Troubleshoot data preparation workflows and document steps for repeatability.
