Job summary

A multidiscipline consulting firm is seeking a GIS Specialist responsible for data acquisition and geospatial analysis in support of environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GIS software and data management, providing critical support to regulatory requirements. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in GIS or equivalent experience, alongside proficiency in tools like ArcGIS Pro and GPS applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years related experience, or 8 years in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in GIS software, GPS data collection, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain geospatial databases for projects.
• Ensure compliance with agency data standards.
• Create and maintain GIS maps and exhibits for project applications.
