Job summary

Scout is seeking a Senior Well Planner to provide engineering support for directional and horizontal drilling operations in the Houston/TX area. You will develop pre-job designs, create well plans, and generate reports to support quoting and operations.

The role requires at least 4 years as a Directional Well Planner, proficiency with Landmark Compass and AutoCAD, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Directional Well Planner.
• Proficiency with Landmark Compass and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial well plans for quotes using geological, geographical data.
• Create anti-collision reports and monitor distances in real time.
• Prepare surveys, reports, and drawings for client updates and operations.
• Maintain a 24/7 on-call scheduling.
• Support other departments when time permits.
