Job summary

Yeh and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to oversee projects across the Colorado Western Slope offices in Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, and Durango.

The role entails supervising staff, ensuring timely delivery, and applying geotechnical design principles to transportation projects. You will lead client relations, contribute to proposals and budgets, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Engineering registration is required.
• Bachelor’s and master’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
• 15–20 years of geotechnical engineering experience with significant project management and budgeting experience.
• Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, groundwater hydrology, and geotechnical design for roads, airports, and earthworks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Lead staff development, performance reviews, safety oversight, and quality of deliverables.
• Develop and pursue business opportunities, build client relationships, and contribute to proposals and budgeting.
• Provide technical leadership as a senior reviewer of analyses and reports for junior engineers.
• Coordinate field activities and travel as needed.
