Job summary

Yeh and Associates, Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Denver, Colorado office. You will support a wide range of geotechnical projects across the United States, contributing to routine and complex design and development efforts.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Geologic or Civil Engineering, 4-6+ years of geotechnical experience, and a Colorado PE or ability to obtain one. Strong communication and safety commitment required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geologic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 4-6+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain one upon hire.
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical writing skills.
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate field exploration programs and geotechnical investigations.
• Assess hazards and develop Health and Safety Plans.
• Interpret geologic and subsurface data to inform designs and analyses.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and develop recommendations for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical reports, designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers on cost estimates and schedules.
• Lead geotechnical design efforts for structures and mitigation.
• Provide construction observation and engineering support during construction.
