You will support a wide range of geotechnical engineering projects across the United States, contributing to both routine and complex design and development efforts. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Geologic or Civil Engineering, 4–6+ years of geotechnical experience, a Colorado PE license or ability to obtain one, and strong communication, analytical and technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geologic or civil engineering or related field.
• 4–6+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication, analytical and technical writing skills.
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
• Master’s degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate field exploration programs and hazards assessments.
• Assess job/site hazards and develop Health and Safety Plans.
• Interpret geologic/subsurface data to inform designs and analyses.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations for foundations, slopes, and pavements.
• Prepare technical reports, design plans, specs and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers on cost estimates, proposals and schedules.
• Lead geotechnical design for tiebacks, soil nails, MSE walls, landslide mitigation.
• Provide construction observation and engineering support during construction.
