Job summary

ECS Limited seeks an experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Manager to lead key Richmond projects, overseeing project execution, technical oversight, quality control, and mentoring junior staff.

You will manage full lifecycle geotechnical projects, develop scopes, budgets, and schedules, perform analyses, supervise field programs, and contribute to business development while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Licensed PE or PG required; if not licensed, ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• Business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of geotechnical projects.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations.
• Supervise field exploration and interpret data from borings, utilities, and lab tests.
• Conduct technical review of designs and drawings.
• Mentor junior engineers and project managers.
• Assist with client engagement and business development.
• Promote company values and high employee engagement.
