Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on verification of construction against plans and specs, performing inspections, sampling, and testing, and coordinating with clients and project managers.

You will contribute to technical reports and daily field documentation while maintaining strong safety and quality standards. Travel to the Tri-State area and Philadelphia is required; a valid driver’s license is

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of testing experience (geotechnical construction)
• Certifications listed preferred (NICET/AWS/ASNT/ACI/ICC)
• Ability to travel in Tri-State area and Philadelphia
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Verify construction per plans and specs.
• Carry out inspections, sampling and testing.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and GTA PMs.
• Record and document construction in daily field reports.
• Contribute to technical reports and inspection summaries
