Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is looking for Construction Engineering Technicians to join our Raleigh, North Carolina office. The position involves field and laboratory engineering tasks to ensure safe construction practices in the Triad area.

Qualifications

• Must have steel-toe or composite-toe boots.
• Own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the engineering and testing industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing for construction materials.
• Manage, sort, and test concrete and other construction material specimens.
• Operate in our engineering laboratory to prepare specimens for strength testing.

Skills

Physical capability to lift 50 lbs or more

Ability to safely use power tools

Understanding of basic math and science

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
