SCS Engineers is seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Expert and Technical Advisor to guide project teams on landfill geotechnical work, CQA, soil and groundwater remediation, and environmental engineering initiatives. This role also focuses on mentoring junior engineers and shaping the technical direction across our nationwide practice.
Ideally based in a Central or Upper Midwest office, the position offers hybrid work with opportunities to contribute to client services while advancing
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering is required.
- Registered professional engineer in at least one state; reciprocity eligibility in others.
- 10+ years of related work experience; 20+ years is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing.
Responsabilités
- Serve as Geotechnical Expert and Technical Advisor on landfill and environmental projects.
- Mentor junior engineers nationwide and contribute to staff development.
- Contribute to project teams with CQA, soil and groundwater remediation work.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates for new projects.
- Present at internal technical meetings and contribute to professional associations.
