Candidates should have a BS in geotechnical or civil engineering, Texas PE, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
• Texas Professional Engineer registration/license (or able to obtain in multiple states).
• 5+ years of transmission/power infrastructure geotechnical experience.
• Experience with large scale construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and proposals for geotechnical projects in transmission/power infrastructure.
• Manage geotechnical projects including scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
• Mentor junior staff and review analyses and reports.
• Build and maintain client relationships to achieve market sector goals.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
• Coordinate with regional leaders on staffing and workloads.
• Prepare geotechnical reports with professional opinions and solutions.
• Identify business opportunities in transmission infrastructure.
