Braun Intertec is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Team, with a primary focus on the solar sector. This role offers the flexibility to work from home or in an office environment on your own terms.

You will lead work procurement efforts and manage moderate to complex geotechnical projects related to solar infrastructure, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded with strong leadership and technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
• Texas PE registration; multi-state licensure required.
• 5+ years of solar geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in consulting preferred but not required; client relationships a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and proposals for solar geotechnical projects.
• Manage geotechnical projects including scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
• Support business goals and client development.
• Nurture client relationships to meet market sector goals.
• Identify solar-related business opportunities.
• Maintain internal/external client relationships with meetings.
• Coordinate staff/resources across regions.
• Prepare geotechnical reports with opinions and solutions.
• Perform analyses per standards.
• Review junior staff analyses.
• Quality review of work and issue resolution.
• Lead a technical/project team.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Assist regional leaders on transmission projects.
