Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Team, with a primary focus on the solar sector. This client-facing role will lead work procurement and manage moderate to complex geotechnical projects, ensuring client expectations are met with strong team guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
• Texas Professional Engineer licensure; multiple-state licensure anticipated.
• 5+ years of solar geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects; consulting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and proposals for solar geotechnical projects.
• Manage geotechnical projects including scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
• Develop or assist in setting business goals and objectives.
• Support client relationships to achieve market sector goals and strategies.
• Identify and pursue solar-related business opportunities.
• Maintain client relationships, including face-to-face meetings.
• Coordinate staff and resources with regional operations leaders.
• Prepare geotechnical reports with professional opinions and practical solutions.
• Perform analyses using company standards and methodologies.
• Review analyses and reports prepared by junior staff.
• Lead a technical or project team and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to build teams for transmission projects.
