Job summary

Braun Intertec seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Amarillo or Lubbock, Texas office, overseeing moderate to highly complex geotechnical and construction materials testing projects. The role emphasizes client relationships, leadership of project teams, and delivering professional engineering reports with practical solutions.

Qualifications include a BS in geotechnical or civil engineering, 7+ years of experience, and Texas PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical or civil engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Seven plus years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings.
• Identify and pursue additional business development opportunities and assist with marketing strategies for Residential, Commercial, Institutional and Municipal markets.
• Lead a technical or project related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical and construction materials testing projects.
• Develop and execute project scope.
• Prepare complex engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards.
• Provide work direction and train junior engineering staff.
