Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Lenexa, KS office. This role manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical and construction materials testing projects by delivering technical expertise to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities include leading teams, developing client relationships, pursuing business opportunities, and delivering detailed engineering reports. Requires PE in KS/MO and at least 10 years in the field.

Qualifications

• BS in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering field required.
• MS degree preferred but not required.
• Ten or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing experience.
• Project management, managing client relationships, and business development.
• Lead and provide work directions to junior engineers.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in Kansas and Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities and assist with marketing strategies.
• Lead a technical or project-related team.
• Prepare proposals for geotechnical and construction materials testing projects.
• Develop and execute project scope.
• Prepare complex engineering reports with professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies.
