Job summary

Kleinfelder's Geotechnical team in Oklahoma is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager based in Tulsa or Oklahoma City. You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, coordinate with clients, review designs, and ensure safety, budget, quality and schedule.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years of related experience, a PE license in Oklahoma (with ability to be licensed in other states), excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor staff and manage scopes independently in a

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of related experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License in Oklahoma and ability to be licensed in multiple states.
• Positive work attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with clients to understand needs.
• Manage a portfolio of projects ensuring safety, budget, quality and schedule.
• Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support.
• Mentor and manage junior staff and project-level geotechnical professionals.
• Develop scopes for field and office tasks and perform independent analysis.
• Coordinate tasks on medium to large multi-disciplined projects with senior staff guidance.
• Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects.
