Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager based in our Central Division Oklahoma location (Tulsa or Oklahoma City). The role emphasizes managing complex geotechnical projects, coordinating client communication, supervising field tasks, and mentoring junior staff within a multi-disciplinary team.

Ideal candidate has strong analytical skills in soil/rock classification, slope stability, foundations, and earth retention, with a licensed PE in Oklahoma and multi-state

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of related experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License in Oklahoma and ability to be licensed in multiple states.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with clients to understand their needs.
• Manage a portfolio of projects meeting safety, budget, quality and schedule requirements.
• Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support.
• Mentor and manage junior staff and project-level geotechnical professionals.
• Develop scopes for field and office tasks and perform independent analysis.
• Coordinate tasks on medium to large multi-disciplined projects with senior staff guidance.
• Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects.
