Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a qualified geotechnical/civil engineer to design excavation, dewatering and foundation projects across diverse environments. You will develop complex engineering solutions, review drafts for regulatory compliance and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required; 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel 20-40%.

Responsibilities

• Design excavation, dewatering, foundations, dams, reservoirs and geotechnical works.
• Prepare engineering designs from basic to high complexity.
• Review designs for compliance with regulations and sign off.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with sales to respond to RFPs and client needs.
